Some Info about VERONIQUE:

 

Where and when were you born?
I was born in Perpignan in South of France the 20/10/1970. I'm 72 inches tall and my weight is 220 pound. I got married in Las Vegas this year so my name now is Veronique Nataf.

What is your profession?
I work in security at the hospital in Perpignan

Were you involved in sports or fitness prior to bodybuilding and how did you get started with weight training?
Before bodybuilding I used to practice hand-ball; I started bodybuilding because I wanted to loose some weight.

Was it a goal for you to compete in bodybuilding competitions right from the beginning or was it something that grew in your mind as time went on and you saw the progress in your body?
My goal at present time is to get more muscular mass. I'd like to compete in USA too if possible.

Can you give me your competition history?
My contests so far:
- 1993 : third in regional championship in france
- 2008 : first in french championship at the WPF

Which contest has been your biggest success; which has had the most meaning to you?
My best competition is off course the last one when I won the French championship in 2008. I was very happy and this prouve to me that everybody can progress and compet at every time of his life.

Please tell me something about your training routine (ie: how many days per week / training split /cardio, etc.)
I train 5 days a week with the following plan :
- Monday : pec biceps
- Tuesday : quadriceps gluttes
- Thursday : shoulders and triceps
- Friday : back
I do the cardio every day of training and abs and calves each training

What is your favorite exercise in the gym and which one you don’t like so much?
My favorite exercise is rowing for back; What I don't like is squat for the quadriceps.

Which body part is your best in your opinion?
My best part of my body is in my opinion is my legs and my back.

If you don’t mind would you give me some stats (best lifts and some body measurements)?
I can't tell you my measurements because I never took it..

What do you enjoy about training for competition....what do you enjoy about the 'off season'?
When trainig for competition I like to see my body change : it is a big motivation. Off season I like to feel my body "bigger" and to have my sheat day of the week.

Please describe a typical day in the life of Veronique Pambrun.
A typical day of my life : morning when I work I wake up at 5am. I work from 6am to 1pm30. I sleep about one hour and then I go training from 6 to 8pm. If I don't work I train the morning and afternoon in split routine.

Please tell me about what you do when you don’t work out (hobbies, what do you do to relax?, etc.)
When I don't work I like to go to cinema, have a walk on the beach with my dogs.

What do you enjoy most about the bodybuilding/fitness lifestyle?
What I like in bodybuilding way of live is the rigour and discipline every day.

Tell me something interesting about yourself, something people may be surprised to hear.
About myself I used to studie art and I enjoy sculpture, paint and old civilisation. I love all animals.

What are your competition goals or personal future goals?
My goal for next year is to compet in competition in Colmar in france and another one in belgium in April. I want to help too my husband for his competition next year. I'd like to travel in USA and have a big house with a big garden...
