BIO:
Being competitive and active in many sports has always been part of my life. I played national club volleyball, ran varsity track and field and was always in the gym from a young age following around my athletic parents, mimicking their exercise with my little 2lb weights!

I loved being in the gym, seeing results, motivating others and setting goals for myself. I was lucky enough to meet some very influential people that helped guide and introduce me to the bodybuilding and competing industry. I competed in my first show in 2004, winning my division as well as the overall, I new then that this was a new passion I was eager to dedicate myself to and pursue!

This year (2006) has been a big year for me as I will have competed in three big shows. It was my first time attempting Figure and stepping on the national stage for Bodybuilding at the World Qualifier and Canada’s coming up in September. Figure was a great experience but currently my heart enjoys the routine, stage time and extreme dedication that bodybuilding involves! I am very excited to gain the experience and look forward to continually make improvements and setting new goals every year.

Future:
My future aspirations include motivating others, making improvements on my physique; gaining experience and hopefully one day attain my Pro Card in the discipline I choose.

Education:
I recently graduated from the University of Calgary with a degree in both Kinesiology and Commerce (marketing). Currently I am a certified personal trainer and work at the Olympic Oval High Performance Center with Varsity athletics as strength and conditioning coach.
