Born 7-18-64 Blonde Hair Blue Eyes 5' 9" 150 lbs. Played all sports thru school and went to college to play volleyball at Hardin Simmons University in Abilene. I have lifted weights for approx. 9 years but just got more serious 3 years ago after I completed my American Karate training. I am a 2nd degree blackbelt in American Karate. I competed for the first time in a figure competition this past June where I placed 5th in the tall class and 5th in Masters. Next I competed in Houston at the Texas State and placed 2nd in the tall class and 4th in Masters. The last competition was the Europa where I placed 4th in the tall class and 4th in Masters. My favorite contest food is Elk and Vegetables, I drink a ton of sugar free Koolaide - mostly Cherry!!!!!! Off season I eat EVERYTHING!!! So far I am staying about 5lbs. off of contest weight. My hobbies are: Golf, water-sports, snow skiing, Marshall arts, movies with my husband and travel! I have owned my own business for 18 years. I have a sign co. where we specialize in sandblasted wood, stone, etc. yet we do every type of sign. We also manufacture display fixtures for western manufacturing companies like Justin, Tony Lama, etc. We also have a etched glass co. that my mom and I have owened for a couple of years. We etch all types of art on any kind of glass or award, mostly geared toward western since that is my largest customer base but we have the ability to do a wide variety of art. We also own a candle co. that specialized in double scented candles with artwork of all kinds melted into the body of the candle that makes a great visual decor. In the future I want to write a book that will educate women how to protect themselves if they are attacked in any way. Not just a self defense book but realistic everyday usage that simply educates women to think in ways that are are not naturally designed to think. My favorite body part to work is legs - I love to hurt!!! I feel my best quality are my arms. I work out 4-5 days a week. A typical day in my life varies tremendously due to so much travel but at home it usually goes like this: Wake up at 5:45 - 6:00. Go to the gym by 6:30, cardio, one hour workout, cardio. Leave the gym go tan. Come home make breakfast (my second meal!) get cleaned up and go to work. Work until approx. 7-8 most evenings or sneak off and go to a movie with my husband and come back and work until about 10:00. Wind down until about 11:30 and hit the sack!!!! One of my favorite things in the world are my animals. I am an animal freak!! I babysit all of my friends dogs when they go out of town and spoil them rotten. My shop is attached to my house (or should I say my house is attached to my shop), so my dogs go to work with me every day! What a life! I am in limbo right now trying to decide is I want to continue in figure or change to bodybuilding. Genetically it will be hard for me to do figure, I am a very muscular, vascular girl. My veins will be the hardest thing to get around because there is not one thing I can do to hide them. The leaner I get, the more they show. Jody was very honest when she judged one of my figure shows and told me I was in the wrong sport! If I can end up looking like her I wont mind crossing over - she looks great! Please note: Shar does not do sessions or wrestling of any kind. Please don't ask! |
