I am fitness model and professional dancer
Were you involved in sports or fitness prior to figure and how did you get started with weight training?
I start going to the gym about 8 years ago to got a best figure. I start alone but then I met a personnal trainer who introduce to me to the weights, and I got in love to the weights.
Was it a goal for you to compete in figure competitions right from the beginning or was it something that grew in your mind as time went on and you saw the progress in your body?
I start at the gym just for myself but after 2 years I would like to prove myself on competition, because I look for something else.
Can you give me your competition history?
Chilean National Open IFBB amateur, Lobarede Classic, 2006, 2nd place
IFBB amateur, Southamerican pre seleccion, 2006, 2 nd place
IFBB amateur, Olympia Open, 2006, 2nd place
In all of this competition I compete in fitness class and I got the 2nd place in all of them.
Which contest has been your biggest success; which has had the most meaning to you?
I got the same success in all of them, because i prepared myself in the same way and it was my first competition. After the competition I was forced to stop, because my model career in Chile. In Chile people and producer not like too much a very tonified body.
But I am thinking for the next year try again.
Please tell me something about your training routine (ie: how many days per week / training split /cardio, etc.)
I train 5 days a week. For about 3 hours per day.
Weights: Monday and Friday I train legs and abs
Tuesday back and abs
Wednesday chest, shoulders and abs
Thursday biceps and triceps and abs
Cardio: Monday and friday, Box
Tuesday and Thursday, aero box or spinning (I twist week by week)
Wednesday crosstrainning on a hill near the gym.
What is your favorite exercise in the gym and which one you don’t like so much?
My favorite exercise is legs training, actually Squats
I hate to train shoulders
Which body part is your best in your opinion?
My glutes and legs.

What do you enjoy about training for competition....what do you enjoy about the 'off season'?
What I like is to proove myself, my mind and my heart to got the objective and my self discipline.
In the off season I like to eat and hang out with my friends.
Please describe a typical day in the life of Nayaret Paez.
I wake up at 7:00 am to prepare my breakfast and the food for the day (3 meals)
At 9:00 am I start my gym routine, weight and them cardio, until 13:00 Pm.
In the afternoon I do many things like solarium, photo sessions, dance training with my choreograph, sometimes I do spinning classes, etc…
I arrive home about 8 – 9 pm.
Please tell me about what you do when you don’t work out ( hobbies, what do you do to relax?, etc.)
Listen music, fly fishing, trekking, spend some times with my family and friends.
What do you enjoy most about the bodybuilding/fitness lifestyle?
The most I like is the discipline and put my body and minds beyond the limits.
Tell me something interesting about yourself, something people may be surprised to hear.
Im a very workaholic girl,I train 5 days a week,and then on weekend I work every Saturday and Sunday non stop,I have full energy and I don’t need to take a break.
What are your competition goals or personal future goals?
My future goals definetly is will be a recognized fitness model and a professional dancer in my country,and why not start my international career as Im
