Was it a goal for you to compete in bodybuilding competitions right from the beginning or was it something that grew in your mind as time went on and you saw the progress in your body? I wanted to compete from the very beginning.

Which competition has been your first one and how did you place? First one was Saddleback of Los Angeles. (local show) I placed first.

And which contest has been the biggest success for you? The Nationals

Could you please add a history of all contests that you have entered so far? History: Saddleback, Los Angels show, the California, the Nationals (two years in a row)

Please describe a typical day in the life of Lori Fetrick. A day...up at 7:30 feed dogs, go to gym, go to work, go to driving range, go home, have dinner, watch t.v., go to bed, get up next day do it all over again. LOL Damn my life is exciting!

Please tell me something about your daily training routine. Daily training, I train one body part a week now that Im just maintaining.

How often do you train in a week? I train 3 days a week.

What are the main differences when you train for a competition and in off-season? I don't compete any more, but when I did I use to train very hevey in the off season. I would train more reps and burn out sessions when getting ready for a show.

If you don’t mind would you give me some stats (best lifts and some body measurements)? No stats. I never kept records. I went by what I looked like, not what I lifted. I do remeber my arms got to 16 inches at one time.

Which bodypart is your best in your opinion? Bodyparts, favorite is arms.

What is your favorite exercise in the gym and which one you don’t like so much? Favorite exercise is Bicep curls.

Judging in Women’s Bodybuilding has always been criticised in one or the other way. But please tell me your honest thoughts about today’s judging in Women’s Bodybuilding. Judging women...I really don't want to say anything about this subject but, I will briefly. I believe the magazine are the one calling the shots in womens bodybuilding, they always have they always will. Think about who owns all the magazines, or most. Weider. They are the one dictating how the women should look. The problem when I was competeing and why I got out is, every year the look changed. One year the biggest one would win, next year the one who is the most ripped would win, the next year it would change again. Damn, how could a girl train for a show if she did not know what they were looking for that year. The whole thing sucked. Oh, and this is funny steriods. All the magazine would critisize the women for steriod use, if thats the case STOP picking the biggest girl on stage for the win. They are the ones pushing the use. Sorry! Don't get me started on this subject about judging. LOL

Please tell me about what else you are doing when you don’t work out (profession, hobbies, etc.) What I am doing now...playing as much golf as I can.

What are your future plans for 2004/2005? Goals...Well just like bodybuilding Golf is a slow process. So I have the patience for it. The plan is this. In 2005 I will start playing some Ameature tournements. In 2006 I will tryout for the Futures tour of Golf and in 2007 I will go for the LPGA tryout. After making the tour the rest is what they say...History!
