Growing up I was in track, gymnastics, and a cheerleader...my dad has been competing in bodybuilding since I was born. We always had a gym in our house, so my dad definitely influenced me w/ the weigths.. I always knew I wanted to compete in bodybuilding at least once...I was interested in the sport after watching my dad compete all those years..and I knew I had the genetics for it. My husband, Derek, also began competing and that just sealed the deal for me.
The best part of getting ready for a show is the changes in my physique and looking and feeling good!! That's the best part of the competing lifestyle.
I train w/ weights 5 days a week, and cardio 6 days a week. Cardio is 45 min in am and 45 in pm.
I do a lot of plyometrics. Mike Davies is my trainer this year and he kicks my butt all the time..I like to go to Columbus for his bootcamp classes. Hardest workout ever for sure!!

Biggest success, Jr Nationals in 04' - my first national show and I placed 6th!!!!
Something people would be suprised to know about me: I have 2 kiddos, Peyton is 9 and Adelyn is 3.....Being a mom, wife, nurse, and training and competing is a full time action filled life!!!
In my spare time, I love traveling...anywhere warm with a beach!!
Future Goals, to place in the top 5 at National level shows!!!
