Size: 3 About Me 23 year old National Level Figure competitor. I took 2nd place in my very first show which was a National qualifier. That has led me to train harder and hope to one day earn my pro card. I am originally from Philadelphia PA, I moved to South Florida in 1998 to go to college to get an Exercise physiology degree. I started in sports and fitness at a very young age. I am the youngest of 3 children. I have an older sister and older brother, who were both involved in sports. At the young age of 6, I was already involved in swimming, cheerleading, baseball, and basketball. I became interested in weight training around 12yrs old I started out learning routines from watching ESPN's body shaping TV shows. At 12yrs old I told myself I WILL compete one day and be on the magazine covers. In addition, I entered the fashion and beauty world I take my training very seriously. I work as hard as I can day in and day out. I am very dedicated to the lifestyle. Just being in shape makes me feel good. I love helping others achieve their goals as well, so whenever I get a chance I try to help others The thing I most enjoy about weight training is the opportunity to be able to "compete with myself" and at the same time "motivate others to live a healthy lifestyle." I believe that the key to success is to stay positive and not to stop believing in myself. I know that there will always be setbacks along the way, but I try to stay strong and keep my vision of being a Top Figure competitor. |
