Where and when were you born? Toledo, OH January 3, 1971
What is your profession? Stay at Home Mom
Were you involved in sports or fitness prior to figure and how did you get started with weight training? I grew up dancing and doing acrobatics. In High School I played tennis. I started lifting weights after both if my children where in school all day.
Was it a goal for you to compete in figure competitions right from the beginning or was it something that grew in your mind as time went on and you saw the progress in your body? Competing was not my goal at first, not until I started feeling better and seeing the changes in my body did I think it might be a possibility.

Which contest has been your biggest success; which has had the most meaning to you? I would have to say my very first show is both my biggest success and has the most meaning. Just because I actually got on stage and did a show. I am a very shy person!!
Please tell me something about your training routine (ie: how many days per week / training split /cardio, etc.) I lift weights 5 days of the week, usually in the morning. One body part per day. Various morning and evening cardio sessions.
What is your favorite exercise in the gym and which one you don’t like so much? Favorite right now would have to be weighted step ups. There is no exercise that I don’t like. I never thought, “oh, I don’t want to do this exercise”.
Which body part is your best in your opinion? Everyone tells me I have great Abs
If you don’t mind would you give me some stats (best lifts and some body measurements)? I don’t keep track of how much I lift, everyday is different.
What do you enjoy about training for competition....what do you enjoy about the 'off season'? I enjoy training for a competition because it gives me a goal. I enjoy the off season because I can try different exercises…and of course the cheat meals!
Please describe a typical day in the life of Nicole Huss. Up at 5:30am (get my food ready for the day). Take the kids to school. Go to the gym for weights and cardio. Home to clean and do laundry. Pick the kids up from school at 2:30 , help them with their homework, drive them to their activities, etc. Go back to the gym for some more cardio. Catch up with my Husband then we go to bed , usually around 10pm
Please tell me about what you do when you don’t work out ( hobbies, what do you do to relax?, etc.) Going out to dinner or traveling with my Husband. Try to do as much as possible with kids!
We spend Sunday with one of our parents every week.
What do you enjoy most about the bodybuilding/fitness lifestyle? This lifestyle has given me more confidence in myself. I feel better than I did when I was younger.
Tell me something interesting about yourself, something people may be surprised to hear. I make my own Birthday/greeting cards.
What are your competition goals or personal future goals? Competition goals are to become a Pro Figure Competitor. I would love to be in fitness magazines too!
Personally, I want to see my children grow to be Happy, healthy educated adults.
Nicole does not do sessions or wrestling of any kind. Please don't ask!!
