Where and when have you been born? I WAS BORN IN MOLINE, ILLINOIS ON JANUARY 17TH, 1980.
Where do you live now? RIGHT NOW, I LIVE IN DEKALB, ILLINOIS.
What is your profession? I AM CURRENTLY A STUDENT AT NORTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY IN DEKALB, ILLINOIS.
What kind of activities/sports did you do before you started lifting weights? I WAS VERY ACTIVE PLAYING A.S.A. SOFTBALL AND VOLLEYBALL FOR CLUB TEAMS AND FOR MY HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS.
How and when did you get involved into lifting weights? I GOT INTO LIFTING WEIGHTS WHEN I WAS 14. MY PARENTS PAID FOR ME TO HAVE A PERSONAL TRAINER TO HELP ME LOSE WEIGHT AND TO GET ME IN SHAPE FOR SPORTS.
Was it a goal for you to compete in bodybuilding competitions right from the beginning or was it something that grew in your mind as time went on and you saw the progress in your body? I NEVER REALLY THOUGHT ABOUT COMPETING UNTIL I MET MY BOYFREIND, JIM SWANSON 5 YEARS AGO.
Which competition has been your first one and how did you place? MY FIRST SHOW WAS THE 2003 NORTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY GREEK PHYSIQUE. I WON THE HEAVYWEIGH CLASS AND THE OVERALL.
And which contest has been the biggest success for you yet? SINCE I JUST STARTED COMPETEING MY BIGGEST SUCCESS HAS BEEN WINNING THE OVERALL AT THE ILLINOIS STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS NOVICE DIVISION.

Please describe a typical day in the life of Andrea Trent. I GET UP AT ABOUT 8AM DO CARDIO ON AN EMPTY STOMACH, COME HOME SHOWER AND EAT, GO TO CLASS FROM 10AM TO 3PM, GO BACK TO THE GYM TO TRAIN, COME HOME DO HOME WORK AND STUDY, HANG OUT WITH MY BOYFREIND FOR A LITTLE BIT AND THEN GO TO BED.
Please tell me something about your daily training routine. I LIKE TO GO HEAVY AND I DO A LOT OF DROP SETS.
How often do you train in a week? I TRAIN ABOUT 5 TO 6 DAYS A WEEK.
What are the main differences when you train for a competition and in off-season? THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IN-SEASON AND OFF-SEASON IS THAT I DO A LOT MORE CARDIO IN-SEASON AND A LOT MORE SETS AND REPS.
If you don’t mind would you give me some stats (best lifts and some body measurements)? MY BEST BENCH HAS BEEN 225LBS AND SQUAT 315LBS FOR 6 REPS. I CAN CURL 45LBS DUMBBELLS AND SHOULDER PRESS 65LBS FOR AT LEAST 4 TO 6 REPS.
Which bodypart is your best in your opinion? PROBABLY MY SHOULDERS AND BACK.
What is your favorite exercise in the gym and which one you don’t like so much (if there is any)? MY FAVORITE EXERCISES WOULD HAVE TO BE ANY THING FOR SHOULDERS.
Judging in Women’s Bodybuilding has always been criticised in one or the other way. But please tell me your honest thoughts about today’s judging in Women’s Bodybuilding. I STILL HAVE YET TO EXPERIENCE THE WORLD OF JUDGING SINCE I AM JUST STARTING OUT.
Please tell me about what else you are doing when you don’t work out (profession, hobbies, etc.) I WORK AT LIFETIME FITNESS IS WARRENVILLE, ILLINOIS. I LOVE TO ROLLERBLADE AND PLAY WITH MY TWO CATS, SHADY AND PRECIOUS. I AM ALSO AN INTERNET JUNKIE. I COULD SPEND ALL DAY ON THE INTERENT.
What are your future plans for 2003/2004? WELL, I AM PLANNING ON COMPETEING AT THE ILLINOIS STATE AGAIN NEXT YEAR AND THEN DOING JR. NATIONALS A FEW WEEKS LATER. I MIGHT DO ANOTHER CONTEST BEFORE THEN BUT RIGHT NOW SCHOOL IS MY MAIN PRIORITY.
